PocketGST Refund Policy

1. Overview

PocketGST Pro subscriptions and lifetime purchases are sold through Google Play Billing (and, when available, the Apple App Store). This page explains how refunds and cancellations work together with our Terms of Service.

Important: QalbIT's policy is that all sales are final except where Google Play, Apple, or Indian law requires otherwise. Please read Section 6 of the Terms for the full policy.

2. No Refund Policy (QalbIT)

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. QalbIT does not issue direct refunds for:

  • Pro Monthly (₹99/month)
  • Pro Yearly (₹999/year)
  • Lifetime (₹2,999 one-time)
  • Any in-app purchase processed by Google Play or Apple

By purchasing Pro, you confirm that you have reviewed features and pricing and accept this policy.

3. Platform-Mandated Refunds

The only exceptions are refunds mandated by:

  • Google Play Store policies
  • Apple App Store policies (when iOS is offered)
  • A court order or legally binding consumer-forum decision in India

If a platform approves a refund, it is processed by Google or Apple to your original payment method. QalbIT may revoke Pro access when a refund is issued.

To request a refund through Google Play:

  1. Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device.
  2. Tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Budget & history (or Subscriptions for recurring plans).
  3. Find the PocketGST purchase → select Request a refund (if shown) and follow the prompts.

Google decides eligibility (often within 48 hours for recent purchases; policies change — see Google's help centre for current rules).

4. Subscription Cancellation

Canceling stops future charges; it does not refund the current billing period.

  1. Open Google Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
  2. Select PocketGST Pro → Cancel subscription.

You keep Pro until the paid period ends, then the app reverts to Free tier limits. Your invoices and customers remain on the device until you delete the app or clear storage.

5. Lifetime Purchase

Lifetime is a one-time payment, not a subscription. The same no-refund policy applies. Use the Free tier (15 GST invoices per calendar month, unlimited calculations) to evaluate PocketGST before buying Lifetime.

6. When Refunds Are Not Available

Refunds are generally not available if:

  • More than the platform's refund window has passed
  • You violated the Terms of Service
  • You extensively used Pro features before requesting a refund
  • The issue is device compatibility (check Android 11+ before purchase)
  • You simply changed your mind after the platform window

7. Billing Disputes & Support

If Play Store refund options do not appear or you were charged incorrectly:

  • Email support@qalbit.com with your Google Play order ID (from the receipt email), purchase date, and a short description.
  • We can help confirm subscription status but cannot override Google Play's refund decision.

Response time: within 24 hours on business days (IST).
